Since the university launched its Master of Science in Nursing program in 2004, Walden has been focused on making higher education more accessible for working nurses. Today, our College of Nursing has grown to encompass online bachelor’s, master’s, post-master’s certificate, and doctoral programs, as well as a wide variety of specializations designed to help nurses learn how to deliver compassionate and specialized care. The College of Nursing has three degree programs accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE): the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), and Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP).

The Post-Master’s Certificate in Nursing program has four CCNE-accredited specializations:

• Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner
• Family Nurse Practitioner
